Incorrect Timeline Wednesday 2 February 2005 by Suffolk Police
According to CCTV footage taken at The Suffolk Golf Club that evening, it shows both Kevin Nunn and Dawn Walker entering and leaving the club. This photo was placed in a local newspaper and on the BBC website, click here, showing Dawn Walker leaving The Suffolk Golf Club. The actual VHS tape still in figure (3) shows the time at 2116hrs

Suffolk Police used this as the time Dawn Walker left The Suffolk Golf Club at the start of their investigation. Suffolk Police accused Kevin Nunn of lying about his movements and persisted in their accusations throughout their enquiries. In the local press it stated “During the 6 week trial the jury identified Nunn as the man seen arguing with Ms Walker outside her home in Fornham St Martin, near Bury St Edmunds, shortly before she was murdered in February 2005”.
A neighbour Mr Thomspon lived opposite the home of Ms Walker, looked out from his window after he arrived home at 10pm. He states he saw a man wearing a dark suit arguing with Ms Walker – he assumed this man was Kevin Nunn. The still below, figure (4) is taken from the VHS tape. It plainly shows Kevin Nunn leaving the Golf Club on Wed 2 Feb 2005, in the same clothes as when he entered earlier that same evening.

The document shown below (Figure 5) states that in fact the time shown on all of the video stills for that evening taken from The Suffolk Golf Club were not the actual time. Kevin Nunn had not lied about his movements on that evening. The signing out log from the Golf Club was never produced in court – this would have shown all of the correct times by members of golf club using the facilities that evening. These FACTS were never made clear by Kevin's Nunn's Defence team to the Jury despite the Prosecution eventually conceding in a closed session in court that the times stated earlier were not correct.
Kevin Nunn visited the home of Dawn Walker after leaving the golf club, they discussed the relationship and came to a mutual agreement it was not working. There was no argument, no shouting or raised voices between them. Kevin Nunn left Dawn Walker’s house and returned home to Woolpit some 10 miles away. He got into his company owned black Volkswagon Passat alone. He sent Dawn Walker a text message at 22.15pm from his home.
